A road movie following an Iranian media student, who is on vacation from her studies in London. She visits different cities in Iran, including Masjed-I-Suleyman, one of the first cities in Iran to be introduced to western culture, and interviews different ethnic groups, collecting their views on happiness. Through her project, she hopes to explore the subject of camera and cinema, and how we are all, in cinema and in real life, in search of happiness. Director Maani Petgar documents this process, as he and his assistant, accompanies her on her journey, and carry out research for their next film. The result is an insightful and disparate look at contemporary Iran, and its people which make up the fabric of society. Festival: Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival.
